A Poem for My Love on Her Birthday
A Poem for My Lovely Butterfly on Her Birthday
To MY LOVE,
To my most Beautiful Butterfly,
To my enchantress,
And my Angel.
Many happy returns of the day,
To the one who tugs the strings of my heart.
Many more awesome days may you have like today,
To the one who's beautiful in and out and smart.
We met, for reasons unknown.
We smiled from heart, for seasons known.
And once there was void at us that's blown,
And now so strong we call each other my own.
I shall always be thankful for having met You,
Oh! what memorable times I had with You!
Thanks to heavens for the gift of her view,
That forever I shall admire this beau.
Oh but admiration seems so small a word,
When I try to spell my heart's feeling for you,
For you're an Angel in human form in the world,
That I can't stop myself from falling for you.
Near or far, it's only a distance,
In my heart I have you carved for my existence.
I shall continue to love only You until my death,
Even if you don't come to me and breath.
Oh! how I miss you every single day my love,
Like a drought land misses a rain,
Like a child misses a mother's love,
And forever I shall only for You remain.
I know not when you will come,
But let me put these words to you today,
None can ever close to me come,
The way you conquered my heart that day.
You're my happiness,
You're my favourite human being,
You're my lady, and my bundle of sweetness,
You're the Angel forever in my heart to be living.
I wait for you,
All alone,
Giving no thought of anyone but you,
Because without you, I'm lost and gone.
You gave me a second chance in life,
Bringing me back from depression,
Back to friendship and your love, my life,
And now there's no going back for me from your obsession.
For which I'm indebted in love,
Forever for you my beautiful enchanting butterfly.
Be blessed on this special day of yours,
And all the days to come.
May the Gods you believe fulfill all the dreams of yours,
And Many more returns of the day as wiser you become.
To my love,
My butterfly,
My enchantress
And My Angel.
(This poem was written on the midnight of my lover's birthday, when everything was beautiful and lovely)
