Mother's Love💝
Mother's Love💝
Sometimes feelings just overflow,
With each second they only grow,
Specially when life feels real low,
They take away the even the last glow.
This deadly loneliness,
This headache that troubles endless,
A cold and cough,
And a fever and fret that knocks me off.
Oh! how I wish you were now here,
My dear Mom, how I wish you're so near,
Oh! how I wish heavens had visiting hours,
For I should've been there countless hours.
To feel your touch that's so lovely,
To feel your warmth so much lively,
To feel your love, in abundance you once gave,
And then onwards none could give.
You taught me what love is,
You taught me how missing someone feels,
You know what you are to me,
And how I wish you come back to me.
So many things to be shared,
And so much of love to be felt.
No matter how far you went,
I still feel you around me present.
Silently caring me from above,
I know you motherly dove,
I miss you more in sickness,
For I love you for times endless.
*Dedicated to all the loving MOTHERS out there*
* Mother's Love is so pure and selfless. It is universal and we all can feel it. Especially when you are sick and down on bed, you realize how blessed you are to have such an angelic mother who cares for you with love. The heart becomes heavy with pain, if you are living without your mother or away from your mother during your sickness and you miss your mother, her love, her care, and her concern. This poem is written during such times.
