The Love You Deserve

 The Love You Deserve

 The Love You Deserve

The love you deserve,
Is the love you should seek to preserve.

You deserve a love that is certain,
Where you become yourself a better version.

You deserve a love that is easy,
Even on the days that feels mad and crazy.

You deserve a love that is slow,
Slow as a river but steadily on the flow.

You deserve a love that is silent,
Yet all the words in the world expressed in a way that's splendent.

You deserve a love that is uncompromised,
Where there's understanding ever promised.

You deserve a love where you are prioritised,
You become their world even without being asked.

You deserve a love that is not rushing,
Where you have time to breathe and not gushing.

You deserve a love that's not toxic,
Where loving them don't make you sad and sick.

You deserve a love that doesn't seek affirmation,
But knows that you stand on a confirmation.

You deserve a love that doesn't ask for validation,
Where there's freedom for you to grow with appreciation.

You deserve a love that's stable,
Where you feel at home and pleasantly relatable.

You deserve a love that is consistent,
And fall for you each day persistent.

You deserve a love that is kind and compassionate,
Where you are loved rightly and passionate.

You deserve a love that accepts you as you are,
Where your worth valued by them from afar.

You deserve a love that is sure,
Where your mistakes are endured with a heart so pure.

You deserve a love that has a love language,
Of them that you both use to your advantage.

You deserve a love that is secured,
Where a future with them is assured.

And you deserve a love that chooses you,
And keep on choosing you and only you.
